Competition Economist – £80,000-£100,000 plus bonus – London (Remote Working)
A global professional services firm with an international presence, known for its management services, is currently looking for a Competition Economist to its Economic Advisory team. Their core services are providing business consulting, regulation and academia to clients, and their new competition practice works in fields such as mergers, abuse of dominance, cartels, infringements, disputes and arbitration and market studies.

As a Competition Economist, you will be required to have strong knowledge of microeconomic theories and drafting skills to work on a variety of competition cases such as damages and abuse of dominance alongside leading law firms, competition authorities and blue-chip companies. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting your work in front of national and international competition authorities and well as board-level clients. This is a senior position within the team to manage cases, clients, and junior economists.
Required skills for Competition Economist:
- MSc and/or PhD in Economics
- Microeconomics / industrial organisation background
- 5+ years of experience in a consultancy, competition authority or in-house
- Strong drafting skills
- Ambition to become a future leader in the competition economics space
