Head of Disaster Risk Management, Resilience and Climate Change – c£70,000 plus bonus – London

A leading boutique economics consultancy is looking to appoint an economist to lead a team that works with public and private sector clients on climate change adaption and disaster resilience projects. This is a senior leadership role where you will help to deliver projects to the current portfolio of clients and also help to expand the practice through business development opportunities.  

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have a proven track record of growing and developing existing clients plus have at least 8+ years of experience at another consultancy, regulator, bank or a specialist company in this field. Other key areas of specialisation are applying economic modelling and analytical frameworks to provide support for clients and experience in Risk Assessments, Risk Strategies and Disaster Risk Management strategies. Please note, you do not necessarily need to be an expert in these areas, but a strong interest and a high level of economic analysis skills is required.
