Project Manager (Economist) – c£90,000-£100,000 total compensation – London/New York
A well established and growing consultancy client of ours is looking to hire a Project Manager (Senior Economist or Director level) with 5+ years of experience. If you’re looking for a step up into a management position, or indeed for a new challenge in the finance/economics space, this is a really exciting opportunity.
The firm predominantly operates across the following areas, and so experience in at least one is a must:
1. Competition and antitrust cases
2. Large financial markets projects
3. Securities litigation
You will have a team of Analysts (usually 3-5) to manage and will have complete oversight of projects, i.e. looking at the initial scope, the legal complaint, and deciding the best angle of attack. You will also be the central point of contact for the client, and so project, people and client management skills or indeed interests are all extremely important.
The successful candidate will also have at least an undergraduate degree in economics and with a postgrad degree in economics and/or finance.
