Senior Regulatory Economist – London

Senior Regulatory Economist – London

A boutique economics consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Regulatory Economist into its growing team. If you’re looking to apply microeconomics to regulatory issues across a wide range of industries, and indeed make the step up into a management and client facing role, this could be for you. A partner track position is also available for someone with already well-established client relationships and a proven track record in sales.

The successful candidate will be a microeconomist interested in solving complex problems for clients with a focus on regulation across industries such as telecoms, energy, water financial services and transport. A strong understanding of regulatory finance issues and incentive mechanisms is a plus, and substantial experience gained in the water or energy industries would also be an advantage.

To be considered, you will have an undergraduate degree in economics, masters in economics and/or finance and 6-10 years of experience at another consultancy, regulator / authority or blue-chip company.

As well as a competitive base salary, they offer a highly competitive bonus, benefits package and well-defined career path.
